We’re committed to shaping the next generation of expert stylists through high-standard, real-world training.
Our apprentices are taught by experienced HEIR Educators and follow a structured programme combining in-salon experience with formal qualifications.
To support their development, we regularly offer opportunities for hair models to take part in live training sessions.

Why Be a Hair model?
Becoming a model means playing a vital part in someone’s career journey.
Every appointment helps our apprentices grow in confidence, skill, and professional readiness.
In return, you’ll receive a service in a professional salon environment, supervised by our educators, with the excellent care and attention.
Model Suitability
Models are strictly selected based on suitability for training goals,
not on a first-come basis.
If you're not chosen, it's simply because the match wasn’t right at that time.
Please stay in the group to be considered for future opportunities.
Where and when
HEIR apprentices train twice a week across two locations:
Wednesdays at HEIR Salon, Wrea Green
(Model appointments for in-salon training and new skills)
Mondays at Knowle Hair & Beauty, Blackpool
(Exam and assessment days – very important!)

What to Expect
Appointments will take longer than standard salon visits
Services are delivered by apprentices under expert supervision
Trainees may be working toward a specific goal or assessment and may not interact as they would in a regular salon visit—they’ll be focused on their task
Your hair must match the specific training requirements for that session
All model appointments require a successful consultation, skin test, and strand test before proceeding
A small fee may apply – this varies depending on the venue and service, see our Facebook Group for full details
