Cancellation & Deposit Policy

At HEIR Salon, we are proud to deliver expert-led, results-focused services tailored to each client. To maintain the high standards we’re known for, we have structured policies in place to protect both our clients' experience and our team’s time.
This policy outlines how we manage appointments, cancellations, and deposits — with fairness and flexibility in mind.
Appointments & Cancellations
We recommend pre-booking to secure the time, team member, and service level that best suits your needs.
We understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. This helps us offer the space to another client and protects the time of our team.
Text reminders are sent 72 hours prior to every appointment, giving you an opportunity to confirm, reschedule, or cancel with fair notice.
If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice:
We will always do our best to re-sell the appointment.
If the appointment time is filled, no fee will apply.
If part of the appointment time is filled, the cancellation fee will be adjusted accordingly to reflect only the time that could not be filled.
If the space is not filled, a cancellation fee will be charged to the card held on file.
Alternatively, an invoice will be issued. Once issued, this will remain on your record until cleared. Any outstanding invoices will be added to your next bill.
Cancellation fees are calculated fairly based on the service booked. A full breakdown is available upon request.
Deposits for Specialist Appointments
For the following services lasting over 2 hours, a 50% deposit is required at the point of booking:

HEIR Bespoke Colour Service
HEIR Mesh Integration
Grey Blending Day
These services require extensive time, advanced planning, and product preparation. A deposit ensures that your appointment is secured and our team is fully prepared for your bespoke experience.
If you cancel with more than 48 hours’ notice, your deposit will be:
Refunded in full, or
Transferred to a future booking — the choice is yours.
If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice:
We will try to re-sell the appointment.
If the appointment is filled, your deposit will be refunded or carried forward to a future booking.
If the appointment is not re-filled, your deposit will be retained as a cancellation charge.
HEIR Extensions
Following a complimentary consultation, we provide a full quote for your extension service.
The cost of hair and products is payable upfront and non-refundable once ordered.
The cost of fitting is payable on the day of your appointment.
Appointments require card capture to confirm.
HEIR Weddings
To secure your Heir Artist for your wedding date, a £100 deposit is required following your consultation.
Final payment is due two weeks before your event, when you will also receive your final quote and wedding day timesheet.
Wedding deposit refunds:
More than 1 month’s notice: 100% refund or transfer
2–4 weeks’ notice: 50% refund or transfer
Less than 2 weeks’ notice: Deposit non-refundable
